spiritsDry January Recommendation from RYT Yoga Teacher: Kin Euphorics

January 2, 2022

Participating in Dry January or trying to cut down? We asked a registered yoga teacher and ATL native her thoughts about KIN EUPHORICS, the “Functional Beverage” non-alcoholic brand co-founded by supermodel Bella Hadid. Here is what she had to say:

Kin Euphorics beverages contain uplifting and good-for-you mood enhancing ingredients that won’t make you inebriated. These are great non-alcoholic options to help relax you at a social event or while stuck in ATL traffic (seriously–I tried it), without impairing your judgment.

Choose between Kin Lightwave: Grounding Calm (OUR PERSONAL FAVORITE) and Kin Spirits: Rising Flow.

Yes, both of these names sound more like a crunchy yoga class than a beverage, so I was a little skeptical but definitely excited. This was also a drink I was dying to try as the hippie trigger language and branded tagline as, “a functional beverage for modern rituals,” really spoke to the namaste in me.

While driving home from work in ATL traffic and questioning my life choices/ wanting to break things (as one does in traffic), I cracked open the Kin Lightwave: Grounding Calm, and sipped it straight from the can.

Lavender-Vanilla flavored, not only was Kin Lightwave: Grounding Calm delicious, but I later found myself relaxed and not at all bothered by being stuck in rush hour 5 p.m. ATL traffic. I was actually just enjoying the present moment, listening to some good tunes and feeling grateful for this chicken-bone ridden city. Not to mention, the can’s smooth texture just feels good. Placebo affect? Maybe, but I think not.

Later that night, hyped from my pleasant experience with Lightwave, I tried the orange can known as Kin Spiritz Rising Flow. Labeled as a Citrus-hibiscus flavored beverage, it somewhat tastes like post-yoga hippy sweat and tree bark when you drink it straight, which is good or bad depending on what you’re into.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s very complex and overall pretty good when mixed with tonic, lime, and/or vodka. Emphasis on Vodka.

Since originally trying, I went back to (Corners) and bought several more. I found them really great to sip and wind down to at night.

How & Where to Drink

Drink straight, or try on the rocks with tonic and a squeeze of lime. Or use it as a complex, tasty mixer.

Bella Hadid really enjoys a can for her morning horseback ride. Sooo there’s that. (See below)

Bella Hadid on Horseback with Kin Euphorics: Kin Spiritz Rising Flow

Ingredients

Ingredients include adaptogenic botanicals like rhiodiola and reishi mushroom, nootropics that improve brain function like GABA and tyrosine and some all-around healthy plants like passionflower and ginger.

What others are saying

I tried the new adaptogen-infused drink Bella Hadid co-founded, and would describe it as a Red Bull mixed with CBD.
